March
In like a lion,
Out like a lamb
Transformation
Of the season
Of ourselves
Warm breezes
Whisper of possibility
Growth
Blossoming
Metamorphosis
Observing nature
Observing our nature
Being in harmony with all

March is the official start of spring. Where I live, real spring doesn't come until later in the year, but signs of it's arrival begin in March. There is a hopefulness about spring. It is a season of rebirth. It is a reminder that life is cyclical. Life is changing. Some changes we can control and some changes we can learn to accept and grow from.
March also takes us further along on our journey through the year. Many businesses mark the end of March as the end of the first quarter of the year. It is a time to review what progress had been made so far. It is a time to gauge if we are on track with our goals or do we need to make adjustments.
My focus for the first two months of the year have been on my physical well-being. I want to keep that as a focus. But for the month of March, I want to shift my focus more to things that feed my soul. One thing that I know feeds my soul is creativity. I love to create in many ways. One of my favourite creative pursuits is painting. I love how I feel "in the moment" when I am painting and I enjoy having something tangible to enjoy after I have created a painting. I discovered a new way of painting last year and have experimented with poured-painting to create beautiful, abstract paintings. This month, I am going to find time to play and create with paint. Just the thought of it makes me happy. There is a lightness to it that balances the heavier feeling of my health goals that I still want to keep in mind for this month.
What would you like to focus on this month? What will feel like a breath of fresh air? What are you longing to achieve this month? Or how do you want to feel? What could bring you your desired feeling? What could be an opportunity for you to explore? What will keep you moving in the direction of living the life you want?
